How to Make Easiest Fried Rice
Fried rice is a staple of many favorite Chinese meals. Make this simple dish at home next time you have a craving for Chinese food. This dish is ideal when you have leftover brown or white rice. If you don't have leftovers leave enough time for the rice to cool before adding it to the dish or it becomes soggy. While the recipe calls for egg, substitute ham if you are serving the dish to someone who is allergic to eggs. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Large nonstick skillet
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup cooked brown or white rice
- 1 cup frozen stir fry vegetables
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, separated
- 4 tablespoons stir fry sauce (optional)

Warm 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil on medium heat in a large nonstick skillet.

Beat the eggs. Add them the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally. Scramble the eggs until they are close to dry. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add the rest of the vegetable oil to the nonstick skillet and increase the heat to medium high. Stir in the frozen vegetables. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 8 minutes.

Add the stir fry sauce to the skillet, if desired. Stir in the cooked rice. Blend thoroughly. Add the scrambled eggs. Mix all the ingredients together and cook for 3 minutes for the flavoring to fully cook through the fried rice.
