Pick a set time and place to walk each week with your friend. Keep things simple. Walk at nearby locations and at a good time for both of you. To lose weight walking with a friend it must be convenient.

Set realistic goals. Don't walk miles when you first start out or you may become sore and discouraged. Instead start with realistic goals and work up to more miles.

Encourage each other to adopt healthy eating habits, get plenty of rest and de-stress. Developing good life habits will make it easy to lose weight walking with a friend.
