This tutorial is for those experiencing frustration with "Exporting" their Contacts list into another Outlook Contact list.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Open Microsoft Outlook and click on "File" at the top left corner, then select "Import/Export..." from the drop down list.
(This will initiate a dialog box)

  2. Step 2

At the top of the list, select "Export to a file, then click "Next".

  3. Step 3

Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)", then select "Next".

  4. Step 4

In the "Outlook Tree" select which folder you would like to Export.
For this step, choose the Contacts folder.

(If there is a "+" sign next to the Contacts folder, this means there are sub-folders to choose as well)

  5. Step 5

    Select "Next".
Now specify where you would like to export the Contact file by clicking the "Browse" button to the right of the destination.

  6. Step 6

Once the destination is selected, click "Next", then click "Finish".

  7. Step 7

When you are ready to send an email to your colleague, attach the exported file and click "Send".

  8. Step 8

    Congratulations!
