Do you want to embed a video from YouTube to your own website using dreamweaver? Here are some easy steps to embed the video to your website.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Computer
  • Internet connection
  1. Step 1

    Go to YouTube and select the video that you want to embed on your site

  2. Step 2
     

    Click on the video and on the right hand side of the screen you should see the username of the person who uploaded the video. Click the more info link. The more info box will show you the URL and the Embed code.

  3. Step 3
     

    Copy the Embed code once the embed code is copied go open your Dreamweaver project that you want to embed the video on. Place your cursor where you want the video to be then click on code view in the top left hand corner. Once you click code view you should see p align = left and your cursor should be blinking.

  4. Step 4
     

    Paste the embed code from the YouTube video where your cursor is and then click the refresh button towards the bottom middle of the screen. Once you have selected the refresh button click on design view.

  5. Step 5

    The video will not show up in design view, but you should at least be able to see a gray box where the video will be. To see video click F12 to view in a your web browser.
