How to Convert Files to MP3s
To convert a file to an MP3 file, first make sure the file is an audio file. Once the file type is verified as one of the various types of audio files (.wav, .au, .aiff, .wma, .ra, etc.), a simple audio conversion program is used. For this demonstration, a free trial version of the Switch Audio File Conversion software by NCH is used.
