Choose a spot. Almond trees need full sun to flourish, so choose a spot that has little-to-no shade.

Dig a hole that's deep enough to accommodate the roots of your young almond tree. Make the hole wider than it is deep.

Plant multiple trees. Plant at least two trees in the same hole so they will grow together and reproduce.

Cover the tree roots and fill in the remainder of the hole with dirt.
