How to Tune a Bow Sight
If you are target shooting you need to know that you are sighted in at the proper distance. If you are hunting, you need the confidence that comes with sighting in a bow, to know that you are going to make a quality shot. A few extra minutes getting comfortable with your bow is well worth the time.
Instructions

1
Tighten one of your sight pins securely to your bow. You can add more pins to sight in to different distances.
-
2
Place your target at a set distance. It is best to start at the closest distance you intend to sight in for. Additional sight pins can then be added below the original pin to sight in for farther distances.

-
3
Take a few shots, lining up on your target with your sight pin. Do not change your aim. You want to make sure you are firing consistently.
-
4
Adjust your sight pin according to the results. If you are hitting high on the target, adjust your sight pin up. Adjust left or right by moving the pin in or out. Adjustment of the pin is always opposite of the direction you want your shot to move.
-
5
Add sight pins as you see fit for each additional distance, after you have reached a comfort level with one distance. Repeat the steps for each pin.

Tips & Warnings
Distances between your sight pins can be estimated by aiming a closer sight pin high.
Never dry-fire a bow. It will damage the string and the bow.
