How to Draw the Maserati Emblem

Maseratis are Italian luxury cars that are recognized for their speed and elegant design. In fact, Maserati designs race cars in addition to sports cars. The company is a long-standing one, having opened its doors for the first time in 1914. There were originally six Maserati brothers, all with an affinity for building and designing cars. The Maserati emblem, with its red trident, is now a universal sign for this car brand. With red and blue colored pencils, the emblem is simple to draw.

Things You'll Need

• Colored pencil
• White paper
• Eraser

Instructions

1. 

   Sketch out the top of the red Maserati design. It should slightly resemble a pitchfork.

2. 

   Draw the full outline of the Maserati design. Use a sharp pencil to draw all of the lines clearly.

3. 

   Study the font on the Maserati emblem. Draw a half oval below the pitchfork symbol, and sketch out the lettering.

4. 

   Draw the Maserati name. Try to keep the block letters spaced out evenly, and pay attention to the style of the font; particularly its clean, blunt edges.

5. 

   Color in the half oval with light and dark blue. Observe where the light blue streaks across the left side of the half oval, and color in the rest of it dark blue. Leave the lettering white.

6. 

   Use red to color in the Maserati symbol. Draw a black oval around the Maserati emblem.
