How to Make Food Pinwheels
Pinwheels are appetizers made by rolling ingredients into a cylinder and slicing it. When the slices are laid on their flat sides, the spiral from rolling is revealed. Things You'll Need
- Per 8-10 pinwheels:
- 1 12-inch diameter flour tortilla
- 2 deli thin slices of turkey
- 1/4 cup whole spinach leaves, washed and dried
- 1 tbsp. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. dry ranch dressing mix (optional)
- 1 tbsp. chopped bell peppers
- Plastic wrap
- Sharp knife

Mix the cream cheese, dressing mix and bell pepper together.

Spread all of this combination over the entire surface of the tortilla. Lay the two slices of turkey and the spinach leaves on top of the cream cheese.

Wrap the tortilla tightly into a long cylinder. Wrap plastic wrap around the outside of the tortilla to hold it in place.

Put the tortilla into the refrigerator overnight to allow the flavors to meld.

Remove from the refrigerator, take off the plastic wrap, and slice into 1- to 1 1/2-inch disks.

Turn the disks onto their sides to see the pinwheel. Serve chilled.
