In the summer, many people like to show off their feet. That's when it's time for a pedicure. Salon pedicures are a rather costly luxury. 1
Soak your feet in warm soapy water for about 15 minutes to soften the skin and calluses. Rub a pumice stone on your heels to slough off hardened skin. Remove your feet from the water and pat dry.
-
2
File your toenails to your preferred length. Use a nail trimmer to remove hardened skin around the nails.

3
Push back your cuticles with the cuticle pusher. Rub cuticle cream onto your toenails and place your feet back in the water for 1 to 2 minutes. This will help the excess cuticles dissolve.
-
4
Remove your feet from the water and pat dry. Buff your toenails to smooth the surface for easier nail polish application.
-
5
Place toenail separators between your toes, and apply a coat of clear nail polish. Wait about 3 minutes for the polish to dry. Apply a coat of nail polish in a color of your choice. Wait for this coat to dry before applying a second coat. Don't apply more than two coats. Once your nail polish is completely dry, massage some moisturizing foot lotion onto your feet and lower legs.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't have toenail separators, twist some toilet paper and wind it between your toes. Instead of using a pumice stone, apply a foot scrub to remove dead skin cells.
