Dwarf pomegranate bushes are smaller versions of the 20- to 30-foot trees that grow full-size pomegranates. The dwarf pomegranate plant grows as tall as 3 feet and produces small pomegranates that are about 2 inches in diameter and taste much the same as their larger counterparts. Plant your dwarf pomegranate seeds when the soil is warm. The soil temperature should be 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are planting the seeds in a container, use a heating pad under the pot to give the seeds the warmth they need from the soil. The area you choose should be one that receives full sunlight. If you are planting in a container, place the pot near a window that will get sun throughout the day.

Replant them outdoors once the temperature reaches the high 60s again.
