How to Block a Web Page in Explorer

For one reason or another, you might find it necessary to block your computer from accessing a particular website. Using Internet Explorer, the process is very simple.

Instructions

1. Open Internet Explorer. From the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options."

2. Select the "Content" tab.

3. In the "Content Advisor" window that appears, select the "Approved Sites" tab.

4. In the top text field, you can put the website address of any site you want to block. Click the "Never" button to the right of the field. Then click the "Apply" button, then the "OK" button to exit.

5. Restart Internet Explorer. The website is now blocked.

Tips & Warnings

• Should you change your mind, repeat the above steps. Select the website you want to change, then click the "Remove" button.
