Step 1
Identify and avoid your allergens.
Visit an allergy specialist to have testing done to determine what exactly is causing your allergy problems in the first place. -
Step 2
Dry your laundry in a dryer and not on a clothes line.
Pollens and other allergens can be blown onto your clothes and be brought into your house if you allow your clothes to air dry outdoors. -
Step 3
Change clothes often if you have been outside for a long period of time.
And change them in the garage or the laundry room, a room where you do not spend a long time. This reduces your exposure to potential allergens. -
Step 4
Stay inside better 5 and 10 am.
This is when the pollen count is at its highest every day. -
Step 5
Wash hair before bed.
Allergens can be carried in your hair and give you increased exposure if they remain trapped their all night. Showering before bed relieves this.

on 7/30/2009 Good suggestions, but if all else fails and you want to leave the house, there are always antihistamines.
