How to Get Through Airport Security Fast

Airport safety is an important part of going on airplanes. Everyone needs to go through airport security so that everyone is safe to fly the friendly skies.
Now sometimes it is tough to get through security at a decent pace as it slows us down. The best thing to do is be prepared so that when you get to the airport and are ready to be screened at airport security, there aren't any problems. Here are the steps to get through quickly.

1. Pack less instead of more. Then more the screeners at the airport security needs to review, the longer it will take. Instead, pack light and know exactly what you are taking to save time.

2. Place your shoes on the top of your luggage and carry ons pieces. This sounds silly, but airport screener are particularly concerned about shoes and will review them more likely than any other piece of clothing. So have them handy so they can easily and you can get on your way.

3. Avoid packing items that are dense as this type of product leads to concerns. Foods that you need to watch include cheese and yogurt.

4. Pack all the electronic equipment together so the airport screener can look over the equipment. This includes all the electronic cords and accessories that might be part of your equipment.

5. Use see through plastic bags so the airport screener can easily look through your items. Smaller clear plastic bags can be used for toiletry items and larger bags can hold your small accessories.

on 6/9/2009 I always use ziploc anyway to keep spills contained. I didn't know that about shoes but usually wear sandals.. hope that helps them. Great tips THANKS
