Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Your favorite brownie recipe
  • Or follow my recipe
  • 6 Tbls cocoa
  • chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Splenda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • or 1/2 cup fat-free yogurt
  1. Step 1

    Heat oven to 325 degrees

  2. Step 2

Mix applesauce or yogurt with cocoa powder and chocolate chips(if desired). Then add Splenda, vanilla, salt and egg whites. mix well. Mixture may be runny due to the substitution of applesauce or yogurt. If you prefer more "cakey" brownies, add more flour.

  3. Step 3

Grease small baking pan. Sprinkle with flour to decrease sticking. Bake in oven for 25-35 min or until done. Wait about 5 minutes before slicing brownies. This will diminish the stickiness and help create nice, square brownies.

    * Nuts, white chocolate, or choc chuncks could be added in order to make this recipe simply heavenly, but guilt-free!

Tips & Warnings
  • To test doneness, stick a toothpick in the middle of the pan and pull out. If there is significant mixture stuck to the toothpick, leave in longer. If there is relatively little stickiness, remove pan.
