The ultimate tea diet is a diet based off a book written by Mark Ukra. The idea behind this diet plan is a three step approach. The tea is more of a supplement to a healthy eating plan, but the combination of the two can be a great long term diet that can be very effective in helping people to lose weight and keep it off. Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lots of tea
  1. Step 1

Decide what kind of tea you like the most. This is going to be the tea you drink morning, noon, and night as you follow a simple and reasonable diet plan.

  2. Step 2

Eat three balanced meals a day that all contain a good balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Portion control is recommended by using an 8 inch plate. Half of each plate should be dedicated to good carbs (no white carbs).

  3. Step 3

If you are going to snack, any snack must have BOTH carbohydrates and protein. This will stop any rapid movement of blood sugar turning carbs into stored fat. The protein forces the body to work harder and to use the carb energy more quickly.

  4. Step 4

Keep on this diet, and keep drinking the tea. Eat the three meals, and snack only when you are actually hungry. The benefits of tea combined with a reasonable healthy diet are enough for most people to lose some good weight.

Tips & Warnings
  • Vary the meals to keep the diet interesting, but always strive for the balance outlined in the ultimate tea diet.
  • If you don't like tea, this isn't the diet for you.
  • The tea isn't a magic silver bullet. You need to maintain a healthy, balanced diet, as well.
