Things You'll Need:
- bowl
- rocks
- water garden water pump
- plants
- water
- pipe
- water garden filter
-
Step 1
The first step for an indoor fountain is to select a container. A large bowl that matches your decor can add color to a room. For an outdoor fountain, you will also want a pond liner.
-
Step 2
You will need to add three tiles to prevent the bowl from sitting directly on the table. this will ensure that the vibration from the pump doesn't hum.
-
Step 3
Select rocks and plants for your fountain. Select pants that have roots that can live in water with no dirt. Wash all dirt from the plant and place in the bowl.
-
Step 4
Water fountain pumpInsert the pump into the bowl.
-
Step 5
Add rocks and plants to the bowl. Cover the pump with rocks, but leave room for the pipe to extend to the top of the fountain. Arrange the rocks so that the water pump tube leans on the uppermost rock. Arrange rocks so that the water cascades down the face of the rock.
-
Step 6
Plug in your water pump. Add water and enjoy the sounds of your new fountain.
