Keep Your Clothes Fresh While Traveling

Keeping clothes fresh while traveling isn't always easy. Clothes get wrinkled and dingy in luggage. Their are a few great products though, that can help you keep your clothes looking and smelling fresh on a trip.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dryer Sheets
  • Wrinkle Releaser
  • Plastic Trash Bag
  1. Step 1

To start off, pack so that your clothes will have limited wrinkles. I like to roll a couple of pants or shirts around socks or underwear to form a tube. This keeps the pants and shirts from wrinkling. I also like to place some fabric softener sheets in the rolls to keep the clothes smelling fresh in the luggage. You should also pack a large plastic bag for any dirty clothes.

  2. Step 2

To keep clothes fresh when traveling, I like to use wrinkle releaser, which is just a pleasant-smelling starch solution. When you take an outfit from your luggage, lay it on a flat surface and spray lightly with the wrinkle releaser. Use your hands to smooth out the fabric and wait about 10 minutes for it to dry. You can buy wrinkle releaser at any convenience store and it comes in both regular and travel size.

  3. Step 3

If you get any stains on your fabric during your trip, you can also use Tide to Go stick. It is a spot stain remover that you can use on the go. It's great for those moments when you spill coffee on your shirt in the morning and you aren't going back to your hotel until night. It is so convenient because it is about the size of a marker. You can stick it in a purse or even your pocket.

  4. Step 4

These tips and products help keep clothes looking and smelling fresh even though they are stuffed in a suitcase. Hopefully they will help you look your best on your next trip. Bon Voyage!
