When your heart is broken, there is nothing else on your mind other than the one you lost. In order to keep you job and still have a life, you will have to find a way to let this person go. This is a hard process, but it works.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Set a time limit. If you are really physically ill from this breakup, call in to work and take one or two days off. You need to yell, cry, listen to sad music, and sleep all day. This is part of the healing process.

  2. Step 2

Rehash. Talk to everyone you can about the breakup. The more you re tell all of the pain, the faster you will run out of things to dwell on. If you cannot talk about it, take time to dwell on it in your own way.

  3. Step 3

Make yourself new inspiring cd's or playlists that inspire a new you. Get rid of any songs that remind you of that person. Torture is not allowed.

  4. Step 4

Clear out all things that remind you of your lost one. If this is to painful to do, have your mom or one of your friends do it.

  5. Step 5

Have something done for just you. Start jogging, go shopping, or get a massage.

  6. Step 6

Look for closure. Make sure that all strings are cut before trying to heal and move on. Be on the lookout for an ex who calls when they are lonely just for a self esteem boost.

  7. Step 7

Be prepared to get angry, to get sad, and eventually to get over it. Work on yourself, and be in a better place for the next love of your life.
