Look Thinner in Your Clothes
Look Thinner in Your Clothes

When you want to look thinner in your clothes, you want to create an optical illusion. A more slender silhouette is easy to achieve on any size.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wear all one color. Black is known as the most slenderizing color. It is classic and it hides a lot of your flaws. You can also achieve a slimmer look by wearing any color head to toe. It creates a slimmer look.

  2. Step 2

Wear the right size. Wearing clothes that are too tight can be very unflattering and make your rolls more prominent. On the other hand, wearing clothes that are too big or baggy can exaggerate your size making you look sizes larger than what you really are. Buy clothes that fit you and do not pay any attention to the number on the size tag.

  3. Step 3

Wear layers. Vests are an excellent way to make your waist look smaller. It breaks you up and makes you look more proportionate no matter what your size is. The same goes for tailored blazers.

  4. Step 4

Wear slimming undergarments. Wearing a slimming undergarment is a fantastic way of slimming your thighs, waist, and the hated love handles. These will also smooth out post pregnancy tummies and back rolls.

  5. Step 5

Wear dark wash, boot cut or flared jeans. Make sure to get a medium rise in the waist if you have love handles.

  6. Step 6

Wear flattering cuts. Empire waists look great on big tummies. Avoid wearing button up shirts with big busts. The same goes for anything double breasted. Wearing skirts can hide larger hips and thighs.
