If you are looking for another way to earn extra money, you can easily make on Twitter using Tweetbucks. When you tweet out a link on Twitter (quite possibly your latest article on eHow!), you need to shorten that link to fit. Shorten it in Tweetbucks and you will get paid per click. Here's how it works:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Twitter account
  • Tweet Bucks account
  • computer
  • internet connection
  • PayPal account
  1. Step 1

In order to use Tweetbucks, you must have a Twitter account. If you do not already have one, go and sign up at Twitter.com

You will need a PayPal account in order to get paid by Tweetbucks, so if you do not have one, sign up for one before you join Tweetbucks.

Once you have your Twitter and PayPal accounts set up, go over and sign up at Tweetbucks. The link is at the end of this article in the resources section.

  2. Step 2

There is no cost to use Tweetbucks and there are various ways to earn money. The simplest way is to just shorten your URLS via Tweetbucks and put them on Twitter. Cut and paste the shortened link in your tweet (remember to write something to go along with the URL!).

Once people click on the link, you will get pay-per-click earnings for each click.

  3. Step 3

You can go into your Tweetbucks account and see how many clicks you have one each article you have tweeted using the shortened URL. It will also show up to date earning.

Tweetbucks gives you $5 in your account to get you motivated. Payout to Paypal is available when your account reaches $25.

  4. Step 4

You can add a Tweetbucks "bookmarklet" to your toolbar to make the process even easier. When you are on a page you want to tweet (whether it is an article your wrote, a blog post or something in the news), just click the bookmarklet that is in the right sidebar of the Tweetbucks site and drag it to your toolbar. When you are on a web page (maybe your article!), press the Shorten with Tweetbucks icon on your toolbar. Ccopy this into your Tweet!

  5. Step 5

When you tweet is sent out, you will start earning immediate when people click on the link. Don't forget to choose to "add custom frame" below the link you shortened.

This will place a small banner ad on the page you are sending someone too. I have been test driving this application for 3 day now and have received NO negative feedback when using it. I have no been using this for every tweet, but mostly just for my articles on eHow and newsworthy items.

  6. Step 6

Tweetbucks also works with affiliates to earn you more money! If you are recommending a book to someone, find the link to it on Amazon.com (one of the many affiliates that link up with Tweetbucks. Shorten the URL (using Tweetbucks!)to the book on Amazon. Once you tweet this you will get the paid per click PLUS if someone buys the book, you get a percentage of the sale. (varies)

  7. Step 7

Tweetbucks is not going to make you rich. It is a great way to add to your income and makes you a little money when you are promoting your articles here on eHow...or anywhere else on the web!

I just started trying Tweetbucks this weekend and if I use it more, I estimate I will earn about $3 per day. Sounds really awful doesn't it? However, an extra $90 a month? That just might come in handy!

Ready to try it? Click on the Tweetbucks link in the resources section (yes, I get credit for each referral...and now you can do the same with yours!) and sign up to start making money on Twitter using Tweetbucks.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not tweet link after link on Twitter just to make money on Tweetbucks. You will lose followers if you become a link-junkie! Make conversation!
