How to Fix a Stained T-Shirt
Even a small stain can ruin a perfectly good T-shirt. Fortunately, most stains can be removed with the right solvent and a little elbow grease. Things You'll Need
- 3% hydrogen peroxide
- Dishwashing liquid
- Vinegar
- Shampoo
- Sterilizing liquid
- Lemon juice
- Salt

Remove blood stains with hydrogen peroxide. Dip a cotton ball into hydrogen peroxide and dab it on the stain. For best results, rinse the T-shirt in cold water as soon as the stain occurs. Don't use warm water, as it will set the stain into the fabric permanently.

Remove coffee stains with a combination of water, dishwashing liquid, and vinegar. Wet the stain and dab some dishwashing liquid on it. Scrub it with your hands. Rinse the T-shirt in warm water. Mix one part vinegar to two parts water. Pour it over the stain, then rinse again.

Remove oily stains with shampoo. Wet the T-shirt and hand-wash using shampoo instead of laundry detergent. Then throw in the washing machine as normal.

Remove red wine stains using hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing liquid. Dab the stain with hydrogen peroxide. Rinse and hand-wash the T-shirt using dishwashing liquid.

Remove milk stains from babies' clothes by pouring the sterilizing liquid used to sterilize bottles directly onto the stain. Then wash in the washing machine.
