Instructions

    • 1

Measure and cut a 6-inch piece of craft wire using the wire cutters or household scissors. Grasp an end of the wire with the tip of the needle nose pliers and curl it into a small looped ring.

    • 2

Measure and cut an 8-inch length of the gathered lace. Insert the uncurled end of the wire through an end of the lace casing on the gathered edge of the lace. Slide the wire through the casing until it comes out the other end. Insert the point of the wire through the looped ring at the other end of the wire. Grasp the straight end of the wire with the needle nose pliers and loop it over the previous looped ring to hook the ends together and to form a small lace wreath. Flatten the loops to allow the lace to slide over the hooked ends to cover them.

    • 3

Measure and cut a 10-inch piece of the 1/8-inch wide ribbon. This length can be shorter, but it will be much harder to work with. Tie the ribbon into a 1 1/2-inch bow. Trim the ends even with the loops of the bow.

    • 4

Place the connected lace wreath pin flat on a table with the hooked ends at the top. If there is a right and wrong side to the lace, place it with the right side up. Apply a dab of glue over the hooked ends and place the knot of the bow on it. Apply a line of glue around the inner circle of the wreath. Place buttons, sequins, bells, small flowers or etc. on the glue and wait for it to dry.

    • 5

Turn the lace wreath pin over with the front side down. Apply glue to the back of the 1-inch pin back. Place the pin back, horizontally, on the top back of the lace wreath pin, over the hooked ends. Let the glue set to dry.
