1. Getting The Tower card in any reading can be disturbing. The Tower tarot card can signify catastrophe, in it's worst sense. Often however, it has other, more palatable meanings.

2. The Tower tarot card most often signifies change of some sort. Conflict, financial loss, change in life or material circumstances. It can also signify loss followed by enlightenment, or a change for the better, it doesn't always mean destruction, although the change may seem that way at the time.

3. The reversed Tower card also has significant meaning. It can mean a gaining of freedom or material gain, but at a high cost.

4. Tarot readings hold meaning for the reader, and will have different significance to different people. It's how you interpret the cards for yourself, and the resulting introspection that can have the most significance.

on 6/15/2009 It's interesting that most people see Tarot cards as a way of diving the future, when it's more accurate to view them as sign posts that tell you where you are in your life, how you got there and the likely outcome if things don't change.
