Step 1
Know the framework of your trip. You should hopefully have your lodging and package booked, which gives you a set of specific dates to work with. Since dining and special events can be booked 180 in advance, you will then know whether you are within that window to start booking, or outside of it for planning purposes only. Some events are merely shows and character greetings and do not require booking.

Many of these events are very popular and quite booked, so the earlier the better. Some reservations require a credit card to hold them.
