Step 1
Find and call a local university in the town you are having the wedding, ask for the Telecommunications department and inquire and ask for recommendations of specific students who are majoring in communications and would be appropriate for videotaping the wedding. You would end up paying less or half the cost that would pay for a professional videographer.
-
Step 2
Large churches who appear on television usually videotape their services. Call up local large churches in your area and ask if it is possible to use the people who videotape their services to videotape your wedding and what would be the cost and their policy concerning this. Some churches also offer training sessions in videotaping, you can also ask local churches about this.
-
Step 3
Ask friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers if they have a special skills of using a video camera. If they don't, ask if they know anyone who does.
