Step 1
Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to starve yourself to rid yourself of excess body fat. Exercise and a decent diet can work wonders for just about everyone. Keep your body healthy! You want to look vibrant, right? Depriving your body of a balanced diet will only make you unhealthy and sick.

Step 2
When you are exercising it takes approximately 30 minutes for your body to start burning fat. First, your body feeds off of the glucose in your blood. When that energy storage is depleted, your liver releases even more glucose for fuel. Finally, after that is also used up, your body starts using your body fat as fuel. So try to exercise for at least an hour if you want to burn fat. This can be low or high intensity exercise, as both are sufficient.

Step 3
Exercising in the morning helps your body kickstart your metabolism early in the day, so try to work out early if you are able to. Eat a healthy breakfast full of protein and a light but filling lunch. Do not skip supper, but do not spoil your day's work with an fattening meal. It is fine to splurge sometimes, but do not make it a daily routine.

Step 4
Have fun with your exercise routine. If you do not like working out alone, hire a personal trainer or join a pilates class. And lastly, congratulations on choosing to be a healthier you.
