How to make roast beef pinwheel

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 4 flour tortillas (10 inch round ones)
  • 1/2 pound of thinly sliced roast beef
  1. Step 1

How to make roast beef pinwheels was another one of those things that I thought of when trying to make another quick and easy dinner. I had worked all day and got home around 6 and had to feed the kids dinner. I tried using what we had in the refrigerated rather than running to the store.

  2. Step 2

In a small bowl you will combine the sour cream, salad dressing mix, and the garlic. You will then stir in the onions. You will spread this mixture over the tortillas and top them with roast beef. Next you will roll them tightly and cut them into one inch pieces and secure them with toothpicks. You will refrigerate these until you are ready to serve. You must remember to dispose of the toothpicks before eating. This makes about 3 dozen pinwheels.

  3. Step 3

I served these with a handful of baked chips and called it an easy dinner night. The kids loved it. Sometimes I think they enjoy these meals more than when you cook all day.

Tips & Warnings
  • Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 10 seconds. This makes them easier to work with.
  • Remember to remove the toothpicks before eating.
