How to add your website to Yahoo

Here's a quick way to submit and add any website to Yahoo. After a submission, your website will be included in Yahoo search!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• A Yahoo account
• A computer
• An internet connection
• A web browser

1. In your web browser, go to "http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit/"
   
   This is Yahoo's main page for submitting and adding websites and/or RSS feeds for their search engine to crawl.

2. Click on (or expand) "Submit a website or a webpage"
   
   This should now have expanded to show a box for you to add your website to.

3. In the box, type in your website EXACTLY as you want it to appear. This is the address that Yahoo will try to look at (or index) in their search.

4. Click "Submit URL".
   
   At this point, you might have to log into your Yahoo account to submit a website.

5. Now you should see a Thank you page
   
   It might take a couple of days but Yahoo's search engine will "crawl" your webpage and should start to appear in the search results. Congratulations! You have now added your website to Yahoo!

Tips & Warnings

• If you haven't logged into your Yahoo account in a while - Yahoo might ask to update a security question or profile.
