Things You'll Need:
- Your iron-hard will
-
Step 1
When you get to the field or court, find a good spot to sit, so you aren't moving to get a better view of your kid. I play pitcher in baseball sometimes, and the pitcher needs to be able to concentrate. He/she, can't do that with parents banging chairs together.
-
Step 2
Don't yell at your kid to do something different. Unless you're the coach, you shouldn't be telling your kid what to do. In basketball, you might be yelling at your kid to shoot, while his coach has told him to pass to #5. This is confusing to your child, who wants to make you proud, and also do what the coach said to do.

Step 3
Don't be trying to make your kid smile before he pitches, kicks a penalty kick, or shoots a foul shot. Not only does it make your kid have to stand there, but it also gets annoying to him/her and makes them lose concentration.
