How to Send a Fax on a Sharp Fax Machine

Today's fax machines are efficient and easy to use.

Sharp is a leading provider of office technology, including fax machines. With four workgroup models and two small office models, they offer a variety of solutions for today's business needs. Fax machines have historically gotten a reputation for being temperamental, but modern models are much more user-friendly. Sharp's fax machines are simple to use, have detailed product manuals and are supported through their network of dealers.

Instructions

1. Place your document face down on the paper guides. "Send Ready" should display on the screen.

2. Press the "Speaker" button and enter the number you wish to fax to. You should hear the fax tone, or a busy signal if the other party's fax is in use.

3. Press the "Start" button when you hear the fax tone to transmit your fax. You will hear a single beep if your fax went through or the machine will print an error report if the fax couldn't be sent.
