Does your dog fight you when it comes time to take vitamin pills? Vitamin pills can be a great part of your dog’s diet and nutritional supplement. Not all dog food is equal. If you can supplement your dog’s diet with dog vitamin pills, it can help your dog’s health. But how do you get a dog to take vitamin pills?

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Small saucer
  • Tablespoon of cooked rice or flour
  • 2 tablespoons of warm chicken or beef broth
  • Pill crusher
  • Dog vitamin pills
  1. Step 1

    In a small saucer combine one tablespoon of cooked rice or flour with two tablespoons of warm chicken or beef broth. Mix together until the mixture is a the consistency of peanut butter.

  2. Step 2

    Read the bottle of your dog vitamin pills. Get out the appropriate dosage for your dog’s weight.

  3. Step 3

    Place the dog vitamin pills inside a pill crusher. Crush the dog vitamin pills until they are a fine powder.

  4. Step 4

    Add the crushed dog vitamin pills to the mixture you made in step one.

  5. Step 5

    Call your dog to you. Offer the mixture to the dog as a treat and praise the dog enthusiastically while they are gobbling down their dog vitamin pills.
