How to create an Amaretto Sour

Amaretto Sour is one of my favorite alcoholic beverages. The taste is not too strong but very smooth. An Amaretto Sour is very easy to make once you learn the proper technique.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Amaretto
• Sweet and Sour Mix
• Glass
• Ice
• Cherry
• Orange wedge
• Straw

1. It is best to use a cocktail glass but it is not needed. A cocktail glass makes the drink more presentable and easy to stir.

2. Fill the glass with desired amount of ice or about 75% full. Ice isn't needed if you chill both the Amaretto and Sweet and Sour Mix.

3. Add 1.5 ounces of Amaretto liqueur. You can add less or more depending on your taste for alcohol.

4. Add 1 to 2 splashes of Sweet and Sour Mix. Again, you can add less or more depending on your taste.

5. Stir with a straw until well blended. You can use a mixer but it isn't needed.

6. Garnish with a cherry and orange wedge.

7. Enjoy your perfect Amaretto Sour!
