Here i will explain how to repair Nail/Screw holes in drywall using items found in your kitchen.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Flour
  • Water
  • Putty Knife
  1. Step 1

First thing is to gather all your supplies. Once your supplies is gathered start off by putting about 1/4of a cup of flour in a bowl.

  2. Step 2

Next just add a very small amount of water. If the mixture is still to dry add a little more water. You want to have a semi thick mixture. Somewhat thick but not too dry. If you put too much water in you can always add more flour.

  3. Step 3

Once the mixture is ready take a putty knife and sizeable amount, depending on the size hole you are patching, and smear it evenly over the hole. Let it sit for a minute or two then take your putty knife and smooth it out getting all excess off. Now that your holes are patched you can either leave it the way it is or paint over it.

Tips & Warnings
  • I know you can just go and buy some spackle or joint compound and do the same thing but this saves you both time and money, and is just as effective. I have holes in my house that were patched years ago and you cant even tell.
