Things You'll Need:

  • 1 ciabatta demi loaf
  • 1-3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5-7 sage leaves
  • 1/4 pound prosciutto cut paper thin slices
  • 6 ounces mozzarella
  • salt
  • pepper
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Cut bread into 1/4 slices or smaller. Smaller slices will yield more servings and will not effect the final taste.

    Toast bread 8 minutes. Do not over toast bread.

    Use a garlicboss to rub garlic clove on both sides of the warm toasted bread.

    Melt butter and sage leaves until golden brown. Butter can burn quickly so watch the browning process close. Season your sage butter sauce with salt and fresh ground pepper.
