Letting Go

Learning to let go of unwanted stress, pain or baggage is essential in having and maintaining any good relationship with a spouse, sibling, friend, and or relative. Unwanted problems not only eat at your well being, they also manifest themselves onto other situations. Which in the end, can cause a strain in your life
and a series of health issues. We all have the ability to let go and live freely.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • be willing to let go
  • be willing to confront the issues at hand
  • accepting responsibility for actions taken (good or bad)
  • being able to accept constructive criticism
  • applying yourself to new ideas and ways of doing things
  1. Step 1

We must always address issues that cause stress and pain. Admitting to yourself that there is a problem is the first step in letting go. Do not dwell on things.

  2. Step 2

Confront the person or persons with which you are having problems. Discuss in a civilized manner the issues and come up with ideas to clear up past problems. Communicate with each other, it's important that you do.

  3. Step 3

If the situation is that the individuals are longer with us, sit and write a letter to this person. Address all issues at hand, after you are finished read it and throw it away. Its a release that feels good because you have addressed the problem. (trust me this works)

  4. Step 4

Empower yourself to let go and release from your life what is keeping you from being able to move in a positive direction.
