Glue for artificial nails is basically super glue also known as cyanoacrylate adhesive or "CA." It makes your nails stick well for weeks, but you don't want it sticking to your fabrics! Removing it is a breeze with these few simple steps. All it takes is a couple of simple products, many you already have around your house. In a matter of minutes, a little elbow grease and some TLC, your fabric will look as good as new.
Put a little acetone nail polish remover on a cotton swab. Dab a small area of fabric to make sure acetone will not bleach or ruin color.
Spray a little WD-40 on a cotton swab. Dab a small area of the fabric to make sure the product will not bleach or ruin color.
Saturate a cotton ball or cotton round with acetone nail polish remover.
Dab the glued area with the cotton ball or round. This will loosen the consistency of the glue. In some cases, it will remove it altogether and you can skip the rest of the steps. This will depend on how much glue is on the fabric, the type of fabric and how long the glue has set.
Let dry completely.
Spray in area with WD-40. Let it soak for 30 minutes.
Rinse area with water. Wash it down with soap afterwards.
Let it dry. Repeat Steps 1 to 7 as needed.
Tip
For large areas, use wash cloths instead of cotton balls.

If you have sensitive skin, be careful when using acetone is can dry your skin out. Be careful if you have cuts on your hands, acetone can burn them. Do not get acetone near eyes or face.
