The Yamaha Rhino is an all around great off-road performer. With the convenience of an ATV and the hauling capabilities similar to trucks, the Rhino is the perfect combination of workhorse and recreational bike for any outdoor enthusiast. Perhaps one of the simplest, though most essential, things you need to know how to do with the Rhino is start it. The cockpit is set up much like a car; however, it is not quite as intuitive to start as as a car.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Insert the Rhino's key into the appropriate hole in the dashboard and turn it to "Run." This will unlock the Rhino's starting mechanism.

  2. Step 2

Pull the choke (black knob to the right of the ignition key) out slightly and put your foot on the gas.

  3. Step 3

Make sure the Rhino is in "Neutral" on the gear shift, then press the red ignition button on the right side of the dashboard. Pump the gas pedal slightly to feed the engine some fuel, and continue pressing the ignition button until the Rhino roars to life.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not pump too much fuel into the engine as you could end up flooding it. A few foot pumps is all it should need to get started.
