Upload your photos to your computer. Your digital camera should have software, a cable and instructions that will help you with this step. If your pictures are already on your computer, go to step 2. If your photos are prints, you will need a scanner in order to upload them to your computer. Once your photos are on your computer, choose 12 for the calendar. Be sure the pictures you choose are clear and of high quality--because you'll be blowing them up to a larger size, all imperfections will be magnified. You also may want to choose photos that reflect a holiday or event for each month.

An Internet search for "photo calendars" will result in hundreds of sites for creating a photo calendar online. Do more specific searches, such as for "Reviews of photo calendars," to find the reviews of sites for creating photo calendars. Based on these opinions, you should be able to make a short list of sites that might work best for you.

Once you have narrowed your choices to a few, visit each site to review prices and shipping policies. You will also want to review the site's satisfaction guarantee. If the images don't come out as clear as you would like, can you return it? Also check for deals or price breaks. Often if you buy more than one calendar you can get a discounted price.

Once you have chosen the site you want to use, you will be prompted with step-by-step instructions that will help you upload your pictures to the website and arrange them as you wish. Some sites allow you to insert text on certain dates such as birthdays and other special dates. Once you have created your calendar, you will be asked for credit card, billing and shipping information.
