1
Purchase hemp twine. Hemp twine is available in a natural tan color as well as many other colors. Since you are making a bracelet for a man, select hemp twine that is thick and durable. For a colorful bracelet, select three different colors of hemp twine.

2
Cut two pieces of twine 9 inches in length. Cut one piece of twine that is 10 inches in length. You may have to adjust the pieces of twine to accommodate larger wrist sizes. When in doubt, measure your wrist or the wrist of the person that you are making the hemp bracelet for. As a rule, one of the three pieces of twine should be 1 inch longer than the other two.

3
Select three beads to use for the hemp bracelet. Select beads that are relatively small and flat. Avoid using beads that are too small, as you may have problems stringing them through the hemp twine.
-
4
String three beads onto the longest piece of hemp twine. Position the beads so that they're equally spaced apart. Secure the beads into place by tying knots around the ends of each bead. You can also use a dab of glue to make sure the beads stay in place. By the time you've tied the knots to secure the beads, the piece of hemp twine should be close to 8 inches (or the same length as the other pieces of twine). If it isn't, trim off one of the ends to make it the same length as the other pieces of twine.
-
5
Braid the three pieces of twine together. Twist the ends of the twine together and dab a bit of glue at each end.
-
6
Form a small loop knot at the end of one side of the bracelet. String a round bead onto the other end of the bracelet and secure with a knot. The loop knot and bead will act as a clasp for your bracelet.
