Things You'll Need:
- The right mindset
-
Step 1
>>>Be Ready to Commit<<<
There is no diet in the world that will work if you have turned that corner in your mind to commit to the process. Being successful takes commitment and a system. Weight Watchers gives you that system. -
Step 2
>>>Join Weight Watchers<<<
You must be thinking "Ugh...really?" If you haven't been through the full blown Weight Watchers process before, I highly recommend that you find one of their meeting locations close to your home or office. If you can't stand the thought of going to meetings they do have an online version. Here's my opinion though...you need to see others going through the same process. Get to know a couple of people. They talk about all types of success strategies and show you many different types of food products that you may enjoy...and not WW products either! -
Step 3
>>>Don't Go It Alone<<<
One of the best things you can do is join Weight Watchers with a friend or loved one. It's nice to have someone to talk to that knows EXACTLY what you are going through. You can keep each other on track. It also helps to go to the meetings together...literally. It makes you get up...get into the car and get there. -
Step 4
>>>Shop with Your Points Finder<<<
The Weight Watchers Points Finder is a small tool [kind of like a paper calculator]. Make sure you take it shopping with you. It is so helpful to make good decision when you are shopping. -
Step 5
>>>Surround Yourself with Good for You Food that You Enjoy<<<
The biggest factor in my Weight Watchers success [and yes, I hit my goal!] is having good for you food that you enjoy nearby. That means packing a lunch for work and making sure you have low point snacks to help you get through the day. And make sure there is variety. You'll get bored and make poor food decisions if you eat the same thing every day. -
Step 6
>>>Cut Yourself Some Slack<<<
My last tip for Weight Watchers success is to cut yourself some slack. What I mean is that if you do have a bad day and make bad choices...BIG DEAL! I "cheated" periodically during my diet and still hit my goal. The key is to let it go and get back to eating healthy. You had a piece of birthday cake at work? Don't let yourself say..."oh well, I'm not dieting today." Just get back on the bike and keep pedaling.
That's IT! You can do it...just commit and you'll get there!
