Do you need a present that comes from the heart for your mom or friend? Do you need something that will make your keys one of a kind? Make a Key Chain out of Beads! It will be personal and one of a kind and it is very simple.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Split Ring
  • lanyard or string
  • beads
  • scissors
  1. Step 1

First, place your beads in a sequence that is beautiful to you. It can have beads that create words and names or just random beads. Have a plan and put them in order. Beads can be slippery so place it on fabric or a table cloth which does not blend in with the colors.

  2. Step 2

Take your lanyard or string and fold it in half. Do not cut it or make the lanyard short.

  3. Step 3

Next take the folded part of the lanyard and pull it through the split ring till the split ring is in the middle of the lanyard.

  4. Step 4

Then take the two ends of the lanyard and pull it in-between the folded part of the lanyard. Pull it tight. The lanyard should make a knot on the split ring.

  5. Step 5

Now take each bead and slip it on the lanyard in the order that you planned.

  6. Step 6

Tie a knot! You can do this by taking the end of the lanyard into a loop. Take those ends again and pull it through that loop. Pull the lanyard ends tight. Repeat.

  7. Step 7

Cut the end of the lanyard.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can make this as long as you want!
  • The knot can be also a square knot.
  • To make the knot really secure, you can use a hot glue gun.
  • Watch out that you do not burn yourself with the glue gun.
