Combine the whole wheat flour with the white flour and put into a food processor. Whisk the olive oil and eggs in a bowl. Put this mixture into the processor, and turn on and process until it turns into a smooth ball. Add some water to mixture if needed. Put dough ball in a bowl that has been lightly sprayed with Pam or a similar product. Cover with a towel and let rise for about half hour to a hour.

  2. Step 2

Next, roll out the pasta dough on a floured board or clean counter top. Flatten until desired thickness and cut in length and width of choice if pasta machine is unavailable.

If you have a pasta cutter, flatten to desired thickness and make adjustments for desired width. Once pasta is cut, let stand for 20 minutes on wax paper. When ready to cook, place and boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain, and prepare with toppings of choice. Whole wheat pasta has an earthy, nuttier flavor to it. A wonderful suggestion is a tough of butter with mushroom and fresh grated cheese! Enjoy!
