Step 1
Preschool age activities would be arts and crafts. My preschooler love to paint. I get the bulk paint. I add drops of each color on a paper plate and give them paint brush and papers. I also buy ceramic animals that I get at Walmart. They love to finger paint as well. Paint can be messy but it keeps them busy for hours.

Step 2
Elementary age activities would be chalk and sidewalk paint. Sprinklers and water balloons are another great activity. Kids this age love to make homemade cards and thank you cards.

Step 3
Middle age activities can be more solo activities. Video games, hand held games, puzzles, and playing on the computer. Don't forget to keep them occupied with a few chores each week.

Step 4
High school age activities as well can be video games and computer. Keep them occupied by giving them lots of chores.
