When designing your bathroom you may opt to go with a stone such as marble. Marble is not only pretty to look at with many different colors and patterns, it is smooth to the touch as well. It gives a bathroom a look of elegance and sophistication instead of the usual functional look. Once you have a marble bathroom countertop, you will need to know how to clean it properly so you don't damage it.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Stay away from store-bought cleaners and dish soap for your marble countertop. They eat away at any sealants you put on the marble, and they won't leave a nice shine. They will leave the countertop looking dull.

    • Never use a scrub brush on marble. You will scratch it.
