Zune is a brand of portable media player, and is also a software program used to add files to Zune media players. You may have found a You Tube video that you wish to add to your Zune. Before you can do so, you must first download the file, and then convert it to the proper format. According to Microsoft, MPEG-4 video files are compatible with Zune. Knowing that information makes converting YouTube to Zune a quick and easy process.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Copy the URL of the You Tube video you want to convert to Zune.

  2. Step 2

Log onto the Video Codezone website (see Resources below).

  3. Step 3

Click the "Video Conversion From URL" tab in the middle of the page.

  4. Step 4

Paste the You Tube URL in the "From URL" text box.

  5. Step 5

Click the "Output Format" drop box. Select "MPEG-4 (.mp4)."

  6. Step 6

Click "Convert/Download." The You Tube video will be converted to the proper format. A download link for that You Tube video will appear on the next screen. Right click that link to save the newly converted video to your computer.

  7. Step 7

Repeat this process for each You Tube video you wish to convert to Zune. Once you do, you can add the files to you Zune (see Resources below).
