How to Make a Football Shoe
Football shoes are actually football cleats. They are shoes with cleats, either metal or plastic, in the sole of the shoe. These cleats make the player more stable and give extra traction. As opposed to other cleats, football cleats have a stronger outsole. Football is a such a physical game with high-speed collisions, constant tackling and jumping, and continuous route running that involves strong planting and sharp twisting.

Instructions
-
-
1
Draw a sketch on cardboard of what you want your cleats to look like.
-
2
Use rubber and cut out the sole, making sure it's the same as your pattern.
-
-
3
Use a shoe last, which is a piece of wood that is the same shape as the body of a shoe. The last should be the same size and shape of the sole. Wrap the last tightly in fabric.
-
4
Tape over the shoe last, making sure that the fabric is still wrapped tightly around the last. Use strips of masking tape, creating three layers of tape over the last.
-
5
Cut out two pieces of leather in the same shape as your patterns. Glue the material to the taped pattern.
-
6
Use shoe nails and nail the sole to the rest of the shoe.
-
7
Glue an insole into each shoe.
-
8
Punch lace holes into each shoe--between six to eight on each side, depending on the size of the shoe.
-
9
Lace them up.
-
10
Glue spikes on the bottom of sole. Go around the outside about a half inch from the edge of the shoe. Use about eight cleats, evenly spaced out on each cleat.
