Step 1
searchOpen a web browser and seach for VirtualDub in a search engine. This example uses Google.

DownloadSelect VirtualDub.org from the search results and enter the site. Once inside, navigate to the Downloads page by clicking on "Download" from the menu.

link to downloadOn the next page, select the link that begins with "List download mirrors..."

dialog boxClicking the link will start the download, causing a download dialog box to open up. Click "Save" to save the file to a desired location on the hard drive.

Extract in the menuRight-click on the downloaded VirtualDub file to extract the files. This example uses Windows native extracting tool.

extractionRun through the extraction dialog boxes by clicking "Next" twice and then "Finish."

Program FilesOpen "My Computer" and navigate to the Program Files folder. The file path for this folder is normally C:/Program Files. Copy the extracted VirtualDub folder into the Program Files Folder.

Open the VirtualDub Folder and create a shortcut of the VirtualDub file. Place the shortcut where you desire.
