How to Delete AOL Cookies

On American Online (AOL), your cookies are tracked as a record of the websites that you have visited. These cookies are stored within your Internet and Browsing history, and can be viewed if they are not deleted. Deleting these cookies will allow you to maintain your browsing privacy, and will give you a chance to view which sites others have visited.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Sign on to your AOL program, and click the "Settings" drop-down menu from the upper menu tab on your home page.

  2. Step 2

    Click "By Category" within the "Settings" menu, and select the tab for "Internet Options."

  3. Step 3

    Select "Settings" within your "Internet Options," and click "Browsing History."

  4. Step 4

    Select "View Files" on the next menu, and select all of the cookies that you wish to delete.

  5. Step 5

    Click "Delete," and your cookies will be deleted permanently from your computer.
