Roxio Creator 2009 allows you to create, manage and share your favorite photos, music and videos with ease. With a wizard-driven interface, Roxio has made it simple to upload your media and make your very own slideshow. Add transitions, styles and panning to make your photos and story come to life. In minutes, you can have a professional-looking slideshow up and running and ready to share with family and friends.

Things You'll Need:

  • Roxio Creator 2009
  1. Step 1

    Open Roxio Creator 2009 and click "Create Slideshow" under the Photo section of the Project Pane. This will open the Slideshow Assistant.

  2. Step 2

    Click "Add Photos" in the Slideshow Assistant. Select the photos that you want to include in your slideshow and click "Add Photos."

  3. Step 3

    Click "Add Background Audio" once you have the photos in the desired order. Click "Add Audio Track" and select the audio file you would like to play throughout the slideshow. Click "OK."

  4. Step 4

    Click "Transition Style" under the Customize section of your slideshow. Choose a style to see a short preview in the video window located just below the list box. Click the "Fit to Audio" box if you would like the total duration of your slides to match the duration of your audio.

  5. Step 5

    Click "Preview" to view your slideshow. Click "Finish" to publish your slideshow. You have the option to "Save this Project," "Burn to Disc," "Create File" or "Edit in VideoWave."

Tips & Warnings
  • To select multiple photos at once, hold down the "Ctrl" key and click on each photo. Once photos have been placed in the Slideshow Assistant, you can change the order by dragging and dropping the photos to the desired position. You can also edit the photos and alter the brightness or remove red-eye by double-clicking the picture.
